In order to assist Ecotech Services with maximising the amount of escrap processing, we welcome volunteers to help with sorting and dismantling material for which there is very little or no economic benefit to the company, but has social and environmental benefits.
The number of volunteers that we can take at any one time is limited so we do not always have the capacity to take on new volunteers.
Ecotech Services supports education, especially in the technical trades, so we also welcome those who need work experience in the technology sector.
We also supply some of our material that requires recycling to individuals or organisations as a teaching or learning resource. The process of dismantling and examining the items fosters learning.
Internships, as both paid and unpaid roles, are available primarily for appliance and computer repair careers.
As well as using volunteers for company activity some of our staff volunteer their time and their skills, especially for repair cafes.
